Hi there, Gail! Thanks so much for taking the time to contact planDisney! I would be happy to help!
I have been in a similar situation, and luckily it should be an easy solution! As long as the tickets are completely unused and are currently assigned to you, you can
transfer them to your children:
1. Make sure they are part of your
Family & Friends list.
2. Go to the My Plans section in your
My Disney Experience account (if you are using the
app, tap the Tickets and Passes icon). Click on the blue link, "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker."
3. Locate the ticket you wish to reassign and select the "Reassign Ticket" link to the right of the ticket.
If they are multiday tickets and are partially used, you will see a message that says "Nontransferrable" (on the app, the Reassign button will be grayed out). If you run into any issues, give the
Ticketing Department a call at (407) 934-7639. Also, don't forget to make those
park reservations if you haven't already done so!
I hope this helps, Gail! If you'd like to watch Magic Kingdom's New Year's Eve "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks from home, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog, which usually includes a link to a virtual viewing. Hopefully, all your dreams and wishes will come true in 2023!
