Hi! I have purchased two Disneyland tickets at the same time, in one order. I want to purchase two magic bands one for myself and one for my boyfriend. Since I purchased both tickets, is there a way I can link one ticket to each magic band?

    Hi there, Amber!

I’m happy to hear you’re interested in using MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort. My family loves being able to easily enter the parks with a tap of our bands, and they are also convenient when checking in at Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane entrances. The bands glow in multiple colors and pulse with vibrations, which make them a fun way to remain hands-free, especially during shows like World of Color – ONE and Fantasmic!

First, I suggest linking your theme park tickets to your Disneyland mobile app if you haven’t already. Open the confirmation email you received when you purchased your tickets and click the link that reads “Access Your eTickets” to view the actual tickets. Then, launch the app and ensure that you are signed in to your MyDisney account. Tap the app’s "☰" feature menu near the bottom right of the screen, and then select the “My Tickets & Passes” section. Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add a ticket. Lastly, scan each ticket’s barcode with your smartphone’s camera or manually type the ID numbers.

Once you have the MagicBand+ bands for you and your boyfriend, you can assign a ticket to each one. Make sure the MagicBand+ is fully charged, and then power it on by pressing the button on the back one time. Tap the band to the back of your smartphone and you should be prompted to open the Disneyland mobile app. From the app’s "☰" feature menu, scroll down and select the MagicBand+ option, tap the “+” symbol at the top right, and follow the on-screen prompts to link the MagicBand+ to your MyDisney account. You can then follow the instructions on your screen to assign it to a linked theme park ticket and pair it to your smartphone.

I hope this information helps, Amber, but if you run into any difficulties, you are welcome to visit a Guest Relations location once you arrive at the resort to get assistance from a Cast Member. Please write back to planDisney with any other questions you have before your pixie-dusted adventure begins!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
