Hello, Chuck,
Welcome to planDisney. It’s a pleasure to help you plan your Disneyland Resort visits.
From what I have learned, the Disneyland Resort
extended the expiration dates of many tickets that would have expired during or around the pandemic theme park closures. My understanding is that the remaining extensions concluded earlier this year. So that would mean that any tickets purchased before the 2020 closure would have expired by now. Currently, the regular ticket expiration policy is in place and tickets are subject to the expiration indicated either on the tickets themselves or in the ticket purchase confirmation email.
Since you said you purchased two tickets, there is possibly another available option. The Disneyland Resort
eTicket terms and conditions indicate that a wholly unused, expired ticket may be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value. (See item number eight of the current terms and conditions for details.) If one of your tickets is completely unused, this may be an option for you to pursue. Finally, it may also be worth reaching out to a Cast Member via chat or by calling the
Tickets phone line. Depending on the specific situation of your tickets, they may have some information not available to us here at planDisney.
Tony’s Tip: If you are looking for ways to save on visits to the Disneyland Resort, you may be interested in checking out some
possible discounts and promotions. If you happen to live within Southern California ZIP codes 90000- 93599, you would qualify for the amazing
Southern California resident weekday ticket. If that applies to you and are interested, I recommend taking advantage of it soon. That offer expires May 25, 2023, and available
theme park reservations are filling up fast.
I hope you find your way to The Happiest Place on Earth soon, Chuck. Should you have any more questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort, we hope to hear from you again at planDisney.
