Stephanie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought tickets in March 2020 due to COVID everything was shut down. Do I still have those tickets available I had the three day pass park hopper.

Hello Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you brought your question to us as many Guests, including myself, have had to move and change dates for trips to the Disneyland Resort for this very reason. I like to think of it as putting just a quick pause in the magic. Let me tap into Tinker Bell's pot of pixie dust and see what we can figure out for you here and get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!

The first step would be to take a look at the original expiration date for your tickets. This can be found on the email confirmation you received at the time of purchase or in the Disneyland Mobile App under "Tickets and Passes". If you navigate to your tickets, the expiration should show just underneath the bar code. The Disneyland Resort has extended some expiration dates to accommodate Guests that have had to change and cancel plans. You can read through these exceptions in-depth under "Modifications and Cancellations" in the "Theme Park Tickets & Reservations" section on the website. I'll include a quick little summary here to see if we can sort this out for you. If you are holding an unused, non-promotional multi-day ticket that originally expired on January 12, 2021 or April 13, 2021, that expiration date was moved to December 16, 2021. If your original tickets were originally set to expire on January 12, 2022 or April 13, 2022, those have been extended to January 12, 2023.

Now that we've got the new expiration date in hand, let's see what we can do! If your tickets fall under those that expired December 16, 2021 - fear not! The magic in those tickets never fully burns out! The amount paid for a wholly, unused Disneyland Resort Theme Park ticket, except for special event tickets or tickets purchased through a third party, may be applied to the purchase of a new ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket price is of equal or higher value than the original. If this is the case for you, I would suggest a call to the Guest Services team - a Cast Member there is happy to wave their wand and help you in purchasing a new set of tickets. If your tickets are still valid, you should be able to move forward with making plans and reservations!

There have been a few changes that I want to make sure you are aware of as your plan your park days. Everyone will need a theme park reservation in addition to a theme park ticket. Since you are holding Park Hopper tickets, you will simply choose the park where you would like to start your day with hopping available to you after 1 p.m. If your current tickets are valid, you should be able to go ahead and make those reservations. If you need to purchase new tickets, you will be able to make the reservations at the time of purchase. Reservations are limited, so when you are planning, I always like to take a look at the current theme park reservation calendar to ensure that my preferred parks are available on my preferred days. If you don't see what you are looking for at first glance just know that Guests are constantly changing their plans so reservations can open up!

Stephanie, the magic awaits! If you have any other questions as you plan for your days spent skipping down Main Street, U.S.A., please reach back out to us at planDisney!

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
