I purchased Tier 4 tickets, then our plans changed and we made reservations for a Tier 1 day. The difference in price is about $60. Do I receive a balance/refund for that difference in cost, and if so, can I use that balance towards an additional ticket?

    Hi Sera,

Your magical Disneyland Resort adventure is just two weeks away! Are you practically giddy with excitement and anticipation?! I'm excited FOR you!

While your idea sounds great in theory, theme park tickets are nonrefundable and when tickets are exchanged for a lower-priced option, no returns are given. Unfortunately, you won't be receiving any money back after changing dates where a lower-tiered ticket will work. The great news, though, is that you'll be able to visit The Happiest Place on Earth on the day of your choosing, and you're going to have SO MUCH FUN! Whether you choose to visit Disney California Adventure Park and enjoy the all-new Avengers Campus, head to Disneyland Park and stay until Mickey's Mix Magic lights up the night sky, or maybe both with a Park Hopper ticket, you're going to make memories with your fellow Mouseketeers that you'll cherish for years to come!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Sera, and please come back and see us again if you have any other questions. I hope you have a truly magical Disneyland Resort adventure later this month!
