i have purchased tickets for the 7th and 8th in a package with a Disney hotel. I received 5 plastic cards which I guess are for admission. Do i also need to make an additional reservation to go to the Disney parks.

    Welcome to planDisney, Maurizio!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question for us.

YIPPIE for planning a magical vacation! Soon, you’ll be strolling down the parks trying all the delectable Mickey-shaped treats.

It sounds like you’ve purchased a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package! The cards you received are indeed your admission cards. If they are Key to the World cards, which have designs of the Sensational Six on each: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy, these will be used as not only your theme park tickets but also as your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room key. You can also head to the front desk of your Disney hotel if you’d like to add a payment option to your cards to charge back to your room stay.

Before I go any further, Maurizio, I need to know when you purchased your tickets, if you made your Disney Park Pass reservations. These are required, along with your tickets, to enter the theme parks and tend to go quickly.

If you open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app, click on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner, and then choose “My Plans,” you will be able to see all your plans, including your Disney Park Passes. If you do not have your park passes made, I recommend doing this as soon as possible because they tend to fill up quickly.

To make Disney Park Pass reservations, click on the link and log in. Once you have done so, choose the members of your party that will be accompanying you, scroll down a bit, and then click “Continue.” Next, you will be prompted to select the date you want to make a reservation for and then the theme park of your choice. Follow the steps until you have confirmed your Disney Park Pass, and then if you need to make another, repeat the process for the next date.

Should you need any help during this process, don’t hesitate to contact a friendly Cast Member through your My Disney Experience Mobile app. You’ll want to open up the app, click on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right and then scroll until you see the “Chat With Us” option.

If you're interested in making Advanced Dining Reservations, you can do this through the app, as well! Just open up the app, click on the "+" towards the bottom middle section, and choose "Check Dining Availability." You will then add your party size and date. Be sure to filter it, so you're checking for the theme park you're visiting that day. There are also plenty of places you'll be able to walk up and order through Mobile Food & Beverage Orders if you'd rather not make dining reservations.

I am so excited for you to visit the magic, Maurizio! Have an enchanting time!
