Ho, ho ho, hello there, Beatriz!
We're so glad you've jingled all the way over to planDisney with a question for us. Let's see if we can untangle your ticket mishap.
Theme park tickets, including those for separately ticketed events like
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, are considered non-refundable. Unfortunately, you will likely not receive a refund for your purchase but I do recommend reaching out to a
Ticketing Team Cast Member by phone for assistance. This year's event is sold out online, but it never hurts to ask if a bit of pixie dust or some of Santa's magic might be available. I can't guarantee they will be able to reschedule your tickets, but Cast Members may have alternative solutions up their holiday sweater sleeves.
If you call and discover there is no wiggle room don't fret! The value of your tickets remains even if they expire. I reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed that while they won't be visible in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App once the event date has passed, you can apply the value paid to another separately ticketed event as long as they are wholly unused.
This value won't apply to the purchase of new standard theme park tickets, but consider a visit to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or a
Disney After Hours event sometime next year. I've had two frightfully fun Halloween Party experiences and my family loved the late-night attractions and
complimentary snacks when we attended Disney After Hours at EPCOT last summer. Once you decide on an event you'd like to experience simply contact the Ticketing Team to apply the value to those new tickets.
I hope this helped, Beatriz. If we can answer any additional questions come back and let us know. Wishing you a holly jolly holiday visit in just a few short weeks!
Magic and memories,
Amy
