Hi, Russ! Thanks for sending in your question to planDisney. You must be getting excited about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort soon!
As long as your tickets are completely unused, you absolutely can change the names on your tickets. The easiest way is to contact a Cast Member for customer support. You can either call
Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 or open up your
Disneyland Mobile app > menu > click "Chat With Us." You can also wait until you arrive at the theme parks and make the change at a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth.
However, the tickets aren't actually assigned until you and your family arrive at one of the Disneyland Resort theme parks' turnstiles for entry, when a Cast Member will photograph each person per ticket. That's when your tickets are linked to your photo, not the name on the ticket. If you have a multi-day ticket, the ticket must be used by the same person for each day. So, it won't be an issue even if you don't officially get the names changed on the tickets beforehand.
Russ, did you hear that one of my favorite Disneyland Park dining locations,
Blue Bayou Restaurant, just reopened after its recent refurbishment? This is a must-do on many guests' lists, so I encourage you to schedule a meal here if you can. During their phased reopening, they are only accepting walk-ins; this can be done by walking up physically to the restaurant or through the Disneyland Mobile app through the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability feature.
We hope you have a magical time! See ya real soon!
