Hi there, Cindy!
What an awesome family trip you are planning! I love traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth with such a large group. Somehow it makes the trip even more exciting!
Cindy, you have two options. Depending on when you purchased your
theme park tickets, one option may be slightly cheaper than the other, so I recommend that you price out both options before making any actual changes.
Your first option is to reassign the theme park ticket of the member of your party who can no longer attend. Since theme park tickets are completely non-refundable, this will make sure that you do not eat the cost. Once your tickets are squared away, you will need to purchase an additional 1-day ticket to Disney's Animal Kingdom for the additional members of your party.
Your second option is to modify your theme park tickets by adding a day to your one-day ticket. To do this, head on over to your
My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans" then "Tickets & Memory Maker." Next to your ticket, you may see a blue button titled "Change Ticket." This button will take you to a page where you can add a day to your existing ticket and pay the difference.
If you do not have the blue "Change Ticket" button online, you will need to call the friendly Cast Members at
(407) 934-7639, and they should be able to help.
Oh, Cindy, when you do make your ticket changes, be sure to make your Disney Park Pass system reservations for Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
Have a wild time!
