Hi Charlene,
Ooh...I bet you're getting SO excited for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's just a little over a month away and will be here before you know it!
I'm happy to let you know that yes, you're exactly right!
Tickets do need to be utilized within a certain time frame, and that time frame changes based on the number of days on your tickets. For example, a five-day ticket needs to be used within eight days, and a nine-day ticket needs to be used with thirteen days. You'll find everything you'll need to know about when your tickets are valid on this
helpful page regarding ticket usage guidelines. My family loves to take a day "off" in the middle of our trip to sleep in a little, take advantage of all of the activities and amenities at our Disney Resort hotel, and enjoy a relaxing dinner. We've discovered that there's magic to be found
all over the Resort!
As you're putting together the perfect itinerary, I also wanted to make sure you knew that in addition to valid theme park tickets,
Disney Park Pass reservations are required for each Mouseketeer in your party. I'd recommend making those as soon as possible because theme park attendance is subject to capacity limits, and once you've made your reservations, your spot in the theme parks will be secure. Hooray!
Did you know that you're visiting during one of my
favorite festivals? The
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival provides a gorgeous backdrop for some delicious foods and fun entertainment! As a big fan of Voices of Liberty, I'd definitely recommend catching one of their performances at the America Gardens Theatre. Their beautiful harmonies often bring me to tears!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Charlene, and please come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
