Hi! If we purchased our tickets and resort separately and not as a package (we purchased military salute tickets), are we still eligible for the dining promo card? Thank you!

    Hiya, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so happy to hear that you're making plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort! As a military spouse, I understand how valuable time together is, and I can't think of a better place for that quality time than at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd love to help you navigate the Special Offers available to you!

Amanda, the Disney Dining Promo Card is available to Guests who purchase vacation packages that include a stay at select Disney Resort hotels and theme park tickets. Because of this, unfortunately, that means you wouldn't be eligible for this particular promotion. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! I have a few other ideas that may work for you.

First, since you were eligible for Disney Military Salute tickets, you may also be eligible for a special military rate for select Disney Resort hotels! All you need to do is call a Cast Member and they'll let you know if your desired resorts are available for your trip dates. In my experience, if your dates are at all flexible, sometimes just shifting by a day or two can open up a whole new world of options! If you decide to go this route, you may want to consider using any of those savings and purchasing a Disney Gift Card. I typically purchase a Disney Gift Card prior to all my trips to give my vacations an all-inclusive feeling, making my trips feel just a little more magical. The best part is, I can use any leftover funds towards some special souvenirs to take home!

Just as a reminder, make sure that you've linked your Disney Military Salute tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make your theme park reservations! Theme park reservations are an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to write back! After all – you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
