    I purchased tickets pre-covid, without a resort reservation. I went ahead and I booked AOA with no tickets and will be receiving a magic band. am I able to link my ticket to that band? I hope it makes sense.

    Hi, Geneva! It is so great to talk to you again! 

    I often book my Walt Disney World Resort hotel and tickets separately, instead of doing so as a package. I may have leftover tickets from a different trip, or just want to nail down my dates before I start the rest of my planning journey. 

    In your case, you will want to go ahead and make sure that your confirmation for Disney's Art of Animation Resort is linked to your My Disney Experience Account, then you will be able to select your MagicBand. 

    Geneva, after you linked your resort reservation, you should go ahead and make sure that your tickets are also linked. As long as your tickets are assigned to you in your My Disney Experience Account, you will be able to use the same MagicBand as both your hotel key and theme park ticket.

    Did you know that you can have multiple MagicBands loaded in your My Disney Experience and use them interchangeably throughout your vacation? I love to use my Minnie Mouse MagicBand for my whimsical day at Magic Kingdom and my Toy Story MagicBand for my adventure at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
