Hello there, Edgar, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm sorry to hear that your plans had to change and that you and your partner will be unable to make
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite. It's an incredibly popular party and tickets are currently sold out for dates this year. I hope that you'll both be able to attend at some point in a future year!
According to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions, tickets are not allowed to be sold or traded for goods or services. However, you are allowed to gift them to another lucky Guest! The names on the tickets do not need to match the individual using them. Just link the tickets to the recipient's Disney account and they will be able to use them in your stead. From the
Disneyland Mobile App, have them select the "☰" Features Menu from the Home Screen, then scroll down to "Link to Account." They may then either enter the ticket ID number manually or use the phone's camera function to scan the ticket's bar code to link it.
Will you and your partner be able to make any later
Disneyland After Dark Events?
Star Wars Nite is another popular event with dates scheduled in April through May and is a must-do if you are a Star Wars fan. Pride Nite has also been announced for two dates in June.
Fun Fact:
Date Nites at Disneyland is arguably the pre-cursor for Sweethearts' Nite and premiered in June of 1957. It was an effort to attract a different demographic and was the first private after hours event at the Park. There was live music and dance floors were set up on the Mark Twain and inside the Golden Horseshoe. For a fun time capsule, listen to the track "Let's Dance at Disneyland" by the Elliott Brothers!
Edgar, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you are able to gift your tickets without issue. Please let us know if we can assist further because we'd love to hear from you again. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
