I love a gal with a plan and it sounds like you are off to a great start! If you purchased your
theme park tickets online, and you are not staying at a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel, at purchase you would have been offered to have your ticket numbers emailed to you, or the option to have them shipped.
If you went with the email option, you should not expect to receive physical cards in the mail. You can use
Disney’s Magic Mobile and it sounds like you have already got that set up for yourself, great job! If you’d like to have a physical card, you can show a photo ID and the credit card, gift card, or Paypal receipt that was used to purchase your tickets at any ticket booth or Guest Relations to be issued a physical ticket card.
If you are staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel you can ask for a Key to the World Card at the front desk. This card will serve as your room key and theme park tickets! If you prefer to stick with digital options, you can use Magic Mobile for park entry, and your mobile phone can open your resort door with the
My Disney Experience Mobile App!
I think it’s a great idea to help your other party members get set up with Magic Mobile. You will set them up in the same way you did for yourself from the My Disney Experience Mobile App, and you’ll need to physically have their mobile devices in hand to get set up. Currently, this isn’t something you can do for them remotely.
Also know that while not required,
MagicBands are still a fun option! MagicBands can be purchased from
shopDisney in advance, or at many gift shops upon arrival. Guests of Disney Resort Collection Hotels can order MagicBands with a pre-purchase discount direct from their My Disney Experience Account! Alternately, if you have older MagicBands associated with you from a previous trip, if the battery is still working and the band is showing as active in your My Disney Experience Account, you can bring that MagicBand with you to use!
