Hi Julie,
Eeekkk!! I'm SO excited for you! Your magical Disney vacation begins TOMORROW! You have to be practically
bursting with anticipation, and I can't wait for you to experience all of the magic and fun! If you need any last-minute
packing tips, planDisney has you covered!
Now that your theme park tickets are purchased, you'll want to make sure that you have
linked them to your My Disney Experience account and have made theme park reservations for all of your Mouseketeers through the
Disney Park Pass system. After that, you'll simply need a
MagicBand or card to enter the theme parks. Do you happen to have any MagicBands left from previous trips? If so, the great news is that MagicBands are reusable, and I've found that the batteries last for at least a couple of years. If not, you'll find MagicBands for sale at multiple retail locations all around Walt Disney World Resort, and it's an easy peasy process to
link them to your My Disney Experience account. If you'd prefer to use a complimentary card, all you'll need to do is take your ticket confirmation (along with a valid photo ID and the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets) to a Will Call location at any one of the theme parks. A Cast Member will be happy to get physical cards for you, and you'll be all ready for the magic to begin!
Before you arrive, don't forget to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app if you haven't already. Not only can you check current attraction wait times and find turn-by-turn directions anywhere within Walt Disney World Resort, but when your tumbly gets rumbly like Winnie the Pooh's, you'll want to use it for
mobile ordering or any last-minute dining reservations.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Julie! I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
