Welcome to planDisney, Cornelius!
It sounds like you are on the right track for a magical vacation. Now that you have your theme park ticket and
Disney Park Pass system reservation, everything else is really optional.
If you would like to
book a table service (sit-down) meal, then you will want to make a reservation 60-days in advance. Personally, my family rarely has a sit-down meal in the Magic Kingdom simply because there is so much to do! If you want to grab something at a counter service location, no reservations are required, but you will need to
Mobile Order on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
If I were to wave my magic wand and give you just one tip for a perfect day at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I would recommend that you take a few minutes to review
which attractions are most important to your party and where they are located on the
map of Magic Kingdom. Reservations are not required for any rides, but I find our day runs a little more smoothly when I know what everyone wants to do, and how to get there.
Cornelius, the most important thing to remember is to have fun. Sometimes people can do a little too much planning and forget to enjoy themselves. You want to ride
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad a second time? Go for it. Want to stop by
Aloha Isle for your third Dole Whip of the day? I'll join you. Being together is what really puts the Magic in Magic Kingdom.
Come back here to planDisney with any questions that you may have and we will help you plan a vacation that is practically perfect in every way.
Enjoy your day and we will see you real soon!
