Hi Chris, welcome to planDisney!
You just purchased Walt Disney World Resort tickets and I just purchased a large quantity of toilet paper from Costco. You clearly win this round of the game of life. Your purchase includes unbelievable sights like the
Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and indescribable feelings while experiencing thrilling attractions like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. My purchase includes, well, not that.
I've put on my Great Mouse Detective hat and have a good explanation for why you're not seeing one of the theme park tickets you purchased in your My Disney Experience mobile app, Chris. Because you described your situation so clearly, I understand that you've already linked the tickets to members of your Family & Friends in My Disney Experience. Well done! This means that your ability to see the vacation entitlements of others (including their theme park ticket) depends on their personal My Disney Experience account settings, even if you're the one that linked their ticket.
Take a look at your
Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. Click "Settings" next to anyone's name and you will see the option to allow that person to view all of your plans or only the plans you share. The person whose ticket magically disappeared from view is not currently sharing all of their plans with you, and that's ok. As long as the ticket appears in their My Disney Experience account, all is well.
I hope this information gives you peace of mind, Chris. Please keep planDisney in mind for any other, "What just happened?!" moments. Chances are planDisney panelists have been there, done that, and are excited to share our knowledge and experiences with you.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
