Hi Dina!
I'm so happy to hear you'll be attending my VERY FAVORITE event of the year,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
In past years, Guests who booked the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party would have a reserved viewing spot for Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade, then dine on a "boo-tiful" buffet of Halloween-themed desserts before watching the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks from a "to-die-for" private viewing location. I just recently answered a Guest question (before the dessert party offerings became available), and spoke of the reserved parade viewing in my answer.
With the newly released dates and information for 2017, it looks as though the party includes the private dessert party with a bewitching buffet of treats and drinks, and a reserved VIP viewing area for the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks, but unfortunately no longer includes the reserved viewing spot for the Boo-To-You parade. (yes, I know, I'm sad about it too.)
No need to worry - Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade is typically offered twice on Halloween Party evenings, and there's lots of great spots to watch the parade. Make sure to look for my favorite character, the Headless Horseman, who makes a ghostly ride down the parade route on his mighty black stallion. He appears around ten minutes before the parade (weather permitting).
Don't miss one of the most sought-after Character Greetings during the party - Jack Skellington and Sally! The line for their meet-and greet tends to get long, so we check this off our list right when the party begins. PhotoPass photographers will be set up for some amazing "magic shot" photos throughout the park. My favorite from last year's party was a photo in the front of the park, where it looked like we were standing next to (my favorite), The Headless Horseman!
Have a spooktacular day! - Diane W.
