I purchased tickets for Halloween in October. Upon looking at my hotel reservation it says that I would be receiving my tickets on the 19th of October? Would this be correct?

Welcome back to planDisney, Amy! The best Halloweens are Mickey-approved! It sounds like you have a spook-tacular trip planned.

Since you booked a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, you need to link the booking number to your Disneyland account under "My Hotel Reservations." Your email confirmation should explain exactly how to do this. Once that step is complete, you should be able to make your theme park reservations when you are within 120 days of your arrival (which I believe for you is June 25). The system will recognize your tickets even though you will not receive them until 4 days before your arrival on October 19.

When you officially receive your tickets, you can link them to your phone via the Disneyland Mobile app and then show your device to the Cast Members at the turnstiles when you enter. I know this is a little confusing, and I felt the same way the first time I read the verbiage on the website. If you need further clarification, give the Walt Disney Travel Company a call at (714) 520-5060. Here's a planDisney tip: set a reminder on your phone for 120 days out and 4 days out, so you don't forget to make those park reservations and link your tickets.

Did you hear that we are already halfway to Halloween, Amy? Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog, where they will post the most up-to-date information; I expect news about the Oogie Boogie Bash to be released very soon. Have a magical vacation, and "Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!"
