One of the many aspects I love about a Disney World vacation is that there’s flexibility for when things don’t go as planned. In my experience, theme park tickets may disappear from your My Disney Experience account once they expire. However,
the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket can be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price. I’d recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number, and a Cast Member would be happy to discuss the options for your specific tickets.
Depending on when you’re planning to visit in January, you may be able to catch the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! Last year it began mid-January, but keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for when they announce the festival dates and offerings later this year.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is one of my favorite events at Disney World because I love sampling the Food Studios around the park while checking out the different art kiosks. Much of the art is Disney-themed, and sometimes you can even meet the artists! I’ve picked up some incredible pieces over the years that bring a little Disney magic to my home. In the past, there’s also been a Disney on Broadway concert series, which is such a cool opportunity to hear Broadway performers sing, all included in your EPCOT theme park ticket.
