I purchased tickets to Disney for some family members that cannot come with me at this time for family matters. How can I handle those tickets? can I change the name on them? can we use them later, or use them to enter into a different theme park? Noelia

    Hi there, Noelia!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with a question for us.

I totally understand that sometimes the clock strikes midnight on plans. We’ve had to modify our own trips in the past, and thankfully the sentiment is always a “See ya real soon, pal” when it comes to a Walt Disney World Resort trip.

Noelia, if the tickets were standalone, you should be able to reassign them once you’ve logged into your My Disney Experience. If the tickets are part of a Vacation Package, you will need to call a Cast Member at Existing Tickets to have the Guests who cannot come removed, and new Guests added. If you already have Disney Park Pass reservations made, I suggest calling a Cast Member for help because they’ll be able to look into your account for you, so you don’t lose any current Disney Park Pass reservations. By calling and speaking to a Cast Member, you can also find out what kind of tickets you’ve purchased and their expiration date.

To reassign tickets on your My Disney Experience Mobile app, click the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the page and then select “Tickets and Passes.” Swipe through your tickets until you find the one you would like to change, and under that, you will see “Reassign Ticket.” This will allow you to choose any Guest from your Family & Friends list, including yourself! You can also click on “Add a Guest” to enter your Guest’s information manually.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Noelia! Have an enchanting time.
