What to do if I purchased tickets for California Disneyland and I am unable to make a park reservation for any of the parks that I purchased tickets for?

Hi Claudimary! Welcome back to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with this question, because sorting out your park reservations is an important step toward turning those tickets into a smooth and magical visit.

If you purchased your Disneyland Resort tickets directly through the Disneyland website or app, your park reservations are typically selected during the checkout process. A great first step is to confirm whether your reservations are already in place. You can do this by visiting the Disneyland website and heading to the “Theme Park Reservations." From there, click “Make or Modify Park Reservations” to view your existing plans. If you see reservations listed, you’re all set for entry on those dates.

If you don’t see any reservations yet, the next step is to try securing one. I checked the Theme Park Availability Calendar for your potential visit date, and there is currently availability for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park across all ticket types. That’s great news, and it means you should be able to make a reservation by visiting the “Theme Park Reservations” page and selecting your preferred park and date.

If your desired date ever appears unavailable, don’t lose hope! Reservation availability can change as other guests modify their plans, so it’s always worth checking back periodically. Having a little flexibility with your dates or park choice can also make a big difference in finding an opening that works for you.

And if your plans shift entirely, you still have options. The value of an unused ticket can be applied toward a higher-value ticket, and in many cases, even a wholly unused, expired ticket can be applied toward the purchase of a new one. If you need help exploring those options or have questions about your specific ticket, a Cast Member at the Tickets phone line will be happy to assist and help find a solution that fits your plans.

Claudimary, you’ve got some great pathways forward, and with a quick check and a little flexibility, you should be able to lock in a visit that works beautifully for you. If you have any additional questions or would like any travel planning tips, please don’t hesitate to visit here again at planDisney!

    Have a magical visit!
