I purchased tickets with blackout for Typhoon lagoon and I would like to know if I can upgrade the tickets and pay the difference?

    Hi Lakaii,

Welcome to planDisney! There is no better way to spend a day than at Disney's Water Parks. The thrills, relaxation areas, and food combine for an epic day beating the Florida heat. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has the largest wave pool in North America and has some fabulous family thrill rides like Miss Adventure Falls. The last time I visited, I was impressed with just how much there is to do!

You can always upgrade your tickets at Disney World because they know once a guest arrives, they can not get enough of the fun! The easiest way to do this is either online or in the My Disney Experience app. In the My Disney Experience app, you will choose the three stacked lines on the bottom right and then locate your ticket under "My Tickets and Passes." Underneath your ticket will be an option to "Upgrade Pass." Just follow the prompts to upgrade your ticket to one without blockout dates. If you have any issues getting this to work in your My Disney account, you can always call the Existing Tickets helpline and they will get it sorted for you.

Since you are planning a day at Disney's Water Parks, I also recommend looking into renting a Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella. This is an extra that is 100% worth the money. You will get your own reserved umbrella and chairs to relax and unwind in. Reserving a shady space ahead of time not only gives your crew a place to meet throughout the day but also means you don't have to get there early to rush and throw your towels and stuff down on a chair to ensure you have a seat.

    Happy Planning,
