Angela from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I had purchased tickets back in December and however had to cancel them so to being sick. I want to take my daughter for her birthday but there is a price difference for the day we want to go. Is there a way to pay the difference and change the name on tix

Welcome to planDisney, Angela! I'd be happy to answer your questions to ensure your daughter has an unforgettable birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth. As Pumba and Timon say, "Hakuna Matata!" Have no worries, because the short answer is yes and yes!

Disney's Ticket Terms & Conditions state that the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied towards purchasing a new ticket with an equal or higher price even after the expiration date. Since your new dates cost more, you'll just be expected to pay the difference. You can also reassign the name on any unused theme park ticket. However, since neither of these things can be done through the Disneyland Mobile App, I suggest calling Disneyland Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636, and a friendly Cast Member will gladly help you. Just don't forget to make theme park reservationsBibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

Here's a planDisney tip: if your Mouseketeer enjoys receiving birthday greetings throughout the day, make sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park for a complimentary birthday button. Now blow the candle out, my dear, Angela, and make your wish come true! Have a magical time!
