Hi Steven,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am thrilled to know you are going to experience
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year! My girls and I adore this party. Officially, ticket holders can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. on the night of the party. We loved being able to enter early to get the party started!
As you plan, I do hope you have considered your dinner plans. While the treats are quite tasty, I know that my family always needs some sort of meal. So we always make plans for dinner. Liberty Tree Tavern is one of our favorite dining locations. When we dined there prior to a party, the service was quick and the food was good. Of course, you could also choose to eat a late lunch at your resort hotel prior to heading to the party. I suggest that you make an
advanced dining reservation if you want to dine at a table-service restaurant.
If you have not yet done so, consider your party attire! My family loves matching Disney holiday shirts. On my last visit in November I actually picked up our matching shirts for our December trip. So, consult with your crew and decide how elaborate your holiday gear will be for your party visit. Remember to check out possibilities at the
Disney Store.
Steven, I hope this helps you finalize those plans! If you have time, I hope you also get to experience the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth. The Candlelight Processional is one of our favorite traditions. My last tip - book a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package to get tickets for the show. The music is so beautifully done!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
