I've purchased a ticket and made park reservations for my mother, who has now decided not to go. Can I bring my 5 year old cousin in her place?

It’s a bibbidi bobbidi beautiful day to see you at planDisney, Donyell!

Thank you for bringing your question our way!

Sometimes the clock strikes midnight on our plans, but do not worry! I’m happy to discuss how you can make changes to accommodate your 5-year-old Mouseketeer cousin instead! I can imagine her excitement when you tell her she’s going to Walt Disney World Resort!

Donyell, because Disney Park Pass reservations cannot be modified, and would have to be canceled and then booked anew, I would first encourage you to call the Walt Disney World Internet Help Desk at 407-939-4357 about your Disney Park Pass because I don’t want you to cancel one and not see availability for your little Mouseketeer. Speaking to a friendly Cast Member who can look into your account makes it easier. And as Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother once said, “…even miracles take a little time,” you may have to wait a bit before speaking to a Cast Member. Still, I assure you, a Cast Member will be happy to assist you to the best of their ability as soon as they can.

You can reassign your mother’s theme park ticket to your cousin through your My Disney Experience account. To reassign tickets on your My Disney Experience Mobile app, click the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the page and then select “Tickets and Passes.” Next, swipe through your tickets until you find the one you would like to change, and under that, you will see “Reassign Ticket.” This will allow you to choose any Guest from your Family & Friends list! You can also click on “Add a Guest” to enter your Guest’s information manually.

If the little princess is a fan of fellow royalty, she will love catching the Royal Princess Processional! This float has Disney Princesses parading through Magic Kingdom Park multiple times a day, and it is absolutely magical. Another great option to treat the little princess is by dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, where Guests enjoy a feast inside Cinderella Castle! It’s truly an incredible experience.

We can’t wait to welcome you both to the magic, Donyell! I hope the two of you have a ball!
