Welcome to planDisney, Denise!
I'm so glad you swam out into the big, blue world with Nemo and found your way here! With less than two weeks to go on your countdown, I bet your excitement is bubbling over. After all, you will be at
The Most Magical Place on Earth during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
I'm so sorry to hear your wife won't be able to join you on your adventure. I imagine the excitement leading up to your departure is mixed with a bit of sadness that she won't be along for the ride. Perhaps you can pick her up a special souvenir during your trip to spread some of the magic to her when you return home.
Theme park tickets are nonrefundable, unfortunately, so I don't recommend canceling her ticket outright. However, you do have the option to modify the dates on her ticket for a future trip as long as you do so before the original start date of her ticket. You may have to pay for any increase in ticket prices for the new dates, but the bright side is you won't lose out on what you've paid for her ticket already.
To change the date on her ticket, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen in your
My Disney Experience App. Select "Tickets & Passes" from the options that appear and scroll through to find your wife's ticket. You should see an option to modify the dates of her ticket below the ticket's details.
If you prefer to modify her ticket from a browser, log in to your
My Disney Experience account and go to your "My Plans" page. Click on "Tickets & Memory Maker" under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. You should see your wife's ticket listed here. If you click on her ticket, it should present an option to modify its dates.
If you have trouble modifying the date on your wife's ticket or want to know if you have any other options, your best bet is to reach out to the helpful Guest Services Cast Members at (407) 939-1936. They will be able to assist you further and answer any questions you have.
Denise, please stop back by
planDisney again in the future if we can be of further service. I hope you are able to enjoy your magical vacation in spite of your wife's absence. Be sure to check out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival on your trip. This annual
EPCOT event is not something you want to miss!
Just keep swimming,
Alyssa
