Howdy, Renselynn.
Welcome to planDisney! I'm always excited to help a fellow Texan, so thanks for two-stepping on by. There’s nothing more exciting than having a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon, and yours is just DAYS away. Are you counting down the seconds yet? I know I would be.
I can’t wait for you to experience all of the magic and
50th Anniversary Celebration festivities with your little Mouseketeer this week! Purchasing your
theme park tickets was the first step - hooray! After you have linked those tickets to your
My Disney Experience account, you will indeed need to
make Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass page for all Guests ages over the age of three in order to enter the theme parks. Since your trip is just around the riverbend, you may want to
check the theme park reservation availability calendar to see if the park your reservation is already at still has availability. If not, I recommend you change your reservation to a park that still has availability for both you and your son.
Once you have your Theme Park Reservations all sorted out, I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It’s your key to the magic and can be used for everything from placing an order through
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to looking through your
Disney PhotoPass pictures and locating nearby
Character Experiences.
Renselynn, we’re all deep in the heart of Disney here, so don’t hesitate to stop back by
planDisney with more questions that tumble in along the way. We'd be more than happy to lasso up the answers you need.
Happy trails to you,
Alyssa
