I purchased theme park tickets for the end of June. I have to change my trip to July. What do I need to do exactly?

Hi there, Joanne! Greetings from everyone here at planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to reach out and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

It is impossible to plan for any abrupt changes that may come along prior to your vacation but, fortunately, it is incredibly easy to make any changes to your plans when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! This high amount of flexibility is a huge plus for my own family since we are able to change our dates of travel in the event of unforeseen circumstances!

In order to change the dates of your theme park tickets, you will first need to log into your My Disney Experience account. From here, navigate to the “My Plans” section and find the theme park tickets you would like to change. You should then see an option to “Change Tickets” next to the listed information. Once you have clicked this link, you will be able to change a variety of options such as the dates of travel, number of days, and the type of ticket. Once you have made any changes, simply confirm your modifications and you will be prompted to pay the difference if there are any.

After you have made your changes to your theme park tickets, it is also important to make new theme park reservations! Guests are required to have reservations through the Disney Park Pass system before visiting any of the four theme parks. I would also recommend checking out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to choosing your new travel dates. This will allow you to verify that there is availability in the theme parks you would like to visit before you make any changes!

I hope you have an extra magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort this summer! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
