We purchased thefun and more package. When I called to schedule golf for my husband I was informed that Oak Trail will behaving a tourn. the first few days and then closed the rest of our trip(Nov 14-21) They offered me nothing else. Any suggestions?

    Lynn,

Unfortunately since the Water Park Fun and More Option has a few different ways to redeem your extras, they might have just assumed that you would simply opt for something other than golf. What I would do is call back and ask them to arrange for a 9-hole golfing experience at one of the other courses. If they say they cannot, then consider dropping the option (and let them know that you will be doing so).

If you choose to drop the option, but still want to get your husband a round of golf, I would try to get onto the Palm or Magnolia courses. These both host a PGA event, so that is a nice bragging point he can bring home with him (and he can tell his buddies his score was whatever he THOUGHT it was, no eyewitnesses!).

Another hint is to consider renting clubs there. The cost is $55, and the clubs are VERY good quality. This may be cheaper than paying the airport baggage fees both ways, and save you the hassle of lugging them around.

    Good Luck!

    Have a magical vacation!
