    I have purchased a "senior Florida Resident" pass. Can the pass be verified at the resort where I have a reservation? Or where do I have to go to get admitted to Animal Kingdom

    Hi Mary Ellen! So glad you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You did well purchasing a Florida Resident Disney Select Ticket! Native Floridians can enjoy some really great deals almost any time of year at the Walt Disney World Resort.  

    The best way to activate your ticket is to visit the ticket window when you get to Disney's Animal Kingdom to show proof of Florida Residency. You can also visit any Guest Relations location at any of the 3 other Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, both water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. 

    Some important things to remember about your tickets are that they are valid for one theme park per day, unless you add the Park Hopper Option, which would allow you to bounce around to any of the 4 theme parks on the same day. Tickets also expire 6 months after first use, with the first use on or before December 31, 2018.  

    While you're visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom you will definitely want to visit  Pandora- The World of Avatar. I really like Na'vi River Journey. It's a river cruise in a bioluminescent rainforest and the sites and smells are quite literally, out of this world.
