    I purchased a "room decor" item offered online for my upcoming cruise. I had Disney Cruise customer service make the purchase. Aside from the credit card charge, can I view this purchase anywhere on my account?

    Your magical Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the river bend, how exciting! I can’t wait for you to experience everything in store for you onboard and in the beautiful ports of call. I always purchase items in advance of our sailing through Disney’s Onboard Gifts and Amenities - whether it’s refreshments, fun gifts and seasonal surprises, onboard credit, or special in-room décor- so let’s talk about what you can expect.

    Whether you purchase these items through the online Gifts and Amenities portal or call Disney Cruise Line, these items do not appear within your reservation so please know you aren’t missing anything in your account. I suspect this could help keep the magic alive by not spoiling surprises for other Guests in your stateroom if they were to see these purchases associated with the reservation. In addition to seeing the charge on your credit card for the purchase, you should have received an email confirmation to your email address on file. Please search your email account for a message from Disney Cruise Line with “Amenity Confirmation” and your name as the complete subject line. You may also call Disney to verbally confirm and request a new email if you’d prefer additional documentation. 

    The in-room décor items are so fun, and really add a personal “wow” upon arrival to your stateroom on embarkation day. No matter the selected theme, they add festive touches that last the whole length of your sailing. You will find the surprise all set up when your room is ready, typically by early afternoon. Look for a television screen inside the terminal stating when rooms should be ready for your sailing, find the time listed in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you flip to “onboard mode,” and there will be a physical rope at the stateroom hallway with a sign as well until the rooms are ready for Guests.

    Did you know you can even order two in-room decoration packages, Mariane? I recently learned this great information when helping another Guest, if this would give you additional ideas for your travel party too. The quality of these items is fantastic, and my family has enjoyed using our in-room décor items long after the vacation is over for other fun events at home.
