Hello! I have purchased and reserved 2 park hopper tickets for my brother and I to go to DL on June 23rd, my mothers birthday. I know out of state visitors are now welcome after June 15th, but am a bit unclear as to what allowed capacity will be then? 100%

Hi there, Stephen! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and asking your wonderful Disneyland Resort vacation question!

First, we would like to wish your mother a very happy birthday! I, personally, feel as though a trip to Disneyland Resort is the perfect way to celebrate any occasion including extra special birthdays!

Disneyland Resort is reopening on a phased basis which means some things may be a bit different during your upcoming visit! All modifications have been made with guidance from the state of California and local health officials. You may notice changes such as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustment to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, all Guests ages two and up are required to wear face coverings throughout their trip except for when actively eating or drinking.

Guests will also need to have reservations prior to entering either of the theme parks! Theme park reservations may now be made at the time you purchase theme park tickets. It is strongly advised that you check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online before booking your stay as well!

While it is true that non-residents of California may begin visiting the theme parks beginning June 15th, there have been no official announcements regarding changes in theme park capacity at this time. I would recommend keeping an eye on either the Disney Parks Blog website or the “Theme Parks: Know Before You Go” webpage. Both of these resources contain the most up-to-date information regarding health and safety measures in the theme parks!

I hope you have a magical time visiting Disneyland Resort later this summer! Be sure to let us know if we can provide any other planning assistance as well!
