I purchased a regular park ticket the same day as the very merriest after hours event and didn’t know the event was taking place that same night. Is it possible to upgrade my regular park ticket for one of those tickets and just pay the difference?

    Heigh-Ho Mimi,

The Holidays, at Walt Disney World, are truly a magical time to visit. Halls are have been decked, bells are jingling and the spirit of joy fills the air. One truly holly, jolly holiday event is Disney's Very Merriest After Hours. This special celebration takes place on specific nights, at Magic Kingdom Park, and is a separate ticketed event. Guests are able to begin entering Magic Kingdom park at 7:00 p.m. and when the clock strikes 9:00 p.m. begin enjoying the Magic of a Disney Christmas.

As you are aware standard Walt Disney World ticket will not gain you entrance for Disney's Very Merriest After Hours and, typically, Walt Disney World tickets are non-refundable. My suggestion is to call Guests Services at (407) 934-7639 and kindly explain your Christmas Wish. With a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust maybe a Christmas Surprise will happen. Phone lines open at 7:00 a.m. EST, and because they are experiencing a high call volume, I suggest rising and shining early to call.

I hope everything works out and we look forward to Welcoming You Home for The Holidays,

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
