I just purchased the pixie annual pass and we don’t plan on going to the park for the first time until July. Can I upgrade my passes when they are available on 4/20/23 and if so how? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to planDisney, Shannon, and congratulations on becoming an Annual Passholder! I recently became a Pixie Dust Passholder, and it's been a fabulous way to enjoy the Most Magical Place on Earth. My favorite benefit was the opportunity to experience TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise during the Annual Passholder Preview at Magic Kingdom Park. I felt like a VIP!

Shannon, I am so excited about the return of all levels of Annual Passes. Since you still need to activate yours, I reached out to a helpful Cast Member to see what your options will be to upgrade. She suggested you go online on April 20 to complete the upgrade process. You'll be prompted to pay the difference for the upgrade, and your expiration date will kick in when you activate your new pass in July. If you have any problems, call the Annual Passholder line, and they should be able to help you. I suggest you take care of your upgrade as early as possible on April 20 since we don't have details on how long passes will be available.

Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort in July might coincide with the return of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This is my favorite festival and typically kicks off in mid-July, so I'm wishing on a star that you can check it out. If I'm not sampling the delicious offerings at the festival food booths, you can find me rocking out to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

I hope you have a magical time visiting this summer, Shannon. Remember to ask for your Annual Passholder discount at restaurants and shops, and please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
