I purchased a pirate pass in May 2024 but just moved back to NY a few months ago. Can I still use my pass until it expires in May 2025 with a NY ID? Examples: booking a hotel on property, parking, etc

Welcome to planDisney, Emma! I’m happy to help with your annual passholder question.

Annual passes are a great value if you’re a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World. I just became an annual passholder for the first time, and I love the discounts on food and merchandise, and especially the discounted rates on hotel rooms since my family visits from out of state.

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member about the Disney Pirate Pass for Florida residents. They said that you should be fine to use the Pirate Pass for the remainder of time you have left, including discounts and other passholder perks. You won’t be able to renew your Pirate Pass since you're no longer a Florida resident, and would need to switch to a Disney Incredi-Pass or Disney Sorcerer Pass if you are an eligible Disney Vacation Club Member.

It looks like your next Walt Disney World visit is just a few weeks away and you’re visit will coincide with the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! You won’t want to miss the delightful topiaries, special food and drink offerings, and Garden Rocks concert series. I recommend checking out this handy festival food guide from the Disney Parks Blog so you know what delicious eats await you!

I hope this information helps, Emma. I’m sure you’re upcoming visit is going to be absolutely magical. If you have any other questions or are looking for tips and recommendations, just pop back to planDisney and ask away.

    Magical travels!
