Hi Dominique, and welcome to planDisney! There is nothing more precious after a vacation than your photo memories, so I can certainly understand how stressful it is to log in and see they’ve expired. I have been in this exact situation, but don’t fret because we may have an option to recover them!
All
Disney PhotoPass photos and videos
expire 45 days after they were captured. Even if you purchase Memory Maker, you need to download them within that window. I wish I could say I’ve never forgotten, but I’ve definitely learned that lesson the hard way!
If your photos have expired within the last 15 days, they can usually be restored for a short extension. Just
send an email to DisneyPhoto Pass and let them know you are requesting the extension. Even if it’s beyond 15 days, I would still contact them to see if they can work a little magic. It never hurts to ask!
Dominique, I hope this helps you get those treasured photo memories restored. If you have any more questions, come back and see us at planDisney. We’re always here to help with all things Disney!
Warm hugs,
Casey
