hi, i have purchased park passes on a day where we chose not to go. my question is, can I get a refund for that day or pass them on to my niece that will be visiting in January 2015?

Hi, Steve! You can visit any Guest Services location to receive a refund for the unused day on your tickets.  You will not be able to pass them along to your niece. There are a couple of reasons for this.  First, they will be biometrically linked to you once you have activated them, and then they are non-transferable.  Second, tickets are only valid for 14 days after they have been activated.  They will have expired before she visits in January.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
