Hello, I purchased a park hopper for tomorrow, Jan 31. I plan to see the fireworks at Epcot. What is the latest you recommend arriving,

Happy New Year, Christine! You'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow to ring in 2025 in the most magical way. It sounds like you want to greet the new year at EPCOT, so let's look at some strategies to ensure an explosively grand time!

I checked the calendar and found that Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will begin just before midnight on December 31. Since I am confident this will be a must-do for many guests, I suggest you enter EPCOT early in the afternoon. Even though I love park hopping, busy holidays like this can be challenging due to the many guests arriving throughout the day.

Last year, both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park reached capacity on New Year's Eve. If you are interested in this particular show, the earlier you can scan into EPCOT, the better. You can enjoy the new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana experience, shop at Creations Shop, and ride my pal Lauren's favorite attraction, Living with the Land. As the day winds down, make your way to the World Showcase to celebrate internationally!

The best part of this plan is that you can catch Luminous The Symphony of Us tomorrow at 6:45 p.m. Talk about a happy bonus! My husband and I recently watched this spectacular from our table at Shiki Sai: Sushi Izakaya. I highly recommend this combination!

For the special New Year's Eve event, I'd start looking for a spot to watch the show around 10:30 p.m. My secret tip is to grab a snack and sit at La Cantina de San Angel for a fabulous view of the World Showcase Lagoon. The Guacamole with Totopos would be a perfect way to greet the new year!

Christine, I'm wishing on a New Year's star that your 2025 will start with a BANG. Be sure to arrive at EPCOT early and enjoy your day celebrating around the world. Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
