Hi there, Matt! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh boy! You have quite a treasure in those old non-expiring tickets. I have some myself with a few days of admission remaining. Walt Disney World Resort continues to
honor all unexpired ticket media. Let's chat about how you can use your tickets for your upcoming visit.
In an effort to manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort has implemented the Disney Park Pass system. At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up require both a valid admission ticket and a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation. I recommend that you first check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to confirm the park you wish to visit is showing availability on your date.
Next, if you don't already have one, you'll need to create a
My Disney Experience account and
link your tickets to your account using the ID numbers on the tickets. If you'll have more than one Guest, you can create additional profiles for the members of your party in your account, or each person over the age of 13 can have their own My Disney Experience account. If someone in your group already has a My Disney Experience account, do not create an additional profile for them. Instead, you'll want to connect accounts through
Family & Friends. Once you have linked your tickets and assigned them to the members of your party, you are then ready to
make your Disney Park Pass theme park reservations.
Your
Park Hopper Plus tickets include the ability to visit more than one theme park on the same day. You'll only need Disney Park Pass reservations for the first park you plan to enter that day. After visiting your first park of the day, you can hop to any other park (subject to capacity) after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin. The "Plus" part of your tickets includes a specified number of visits to
Disney's Water Parks, miniature golf courses, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. If you still have "Plus" visits remaining on your tickets, you might consider visiting
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, which just reopened after refurbishment. No reservations are required to visit Blizzard Beach.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and see us here at planDisney again anytime. We are always happy to help!
