Hi there, Cheryl!
Thanks for bringing your Disney vacation planning question to planDisney. The most wonderful thing about my Happy Place, Walt Disney World Resort, is that they are in the business of magic making. And although your mother was unable to join you due to unfortunate circumstances, there is still some pixie dust in her theme park ticket.
As long as your theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper option is unexpired and unused, Walt Disney World Resort will honor it. Log in to your
My Disney Experience account, select “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets,” and then select the “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” tab. From there, you can reassign and change this ticket. Keep in mind that you will have to pay the difference between the price of the ticket’s original dates and the updated, current dates.
Now, if you can’t locate this ticket anymore in your My Disney Experience account, this means that it rolled off. But Hakuna Matata! The ticket may have “expired,” but the value is still there. Do one of the following: Call the Existing Tickets number found on the
Assistance by Phone webpage. Or if you have the physical ticket, take a photo of the front and back of her ticket and send it to the following email address: Ticket.Usage@disneyworld.com. Include your name and other details that could help the Cast Member locate your purchase. It will take up to 14 business days for them to respond.
Cheryl, if you have additional questions about your upcoming adventure, please reach out to us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears!Magic always,
LeAndra
