Howdy, Joseph!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question! Congratulations on booking a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package and how exciting that you'll be visiting during the Holiday Season! Even though it's still a ways off, I'm happy to see you here and it would be my pleasure to respond to your inquiry.
When you purchase a Vacation Package from the
Disneyland website, everything will be handled electronically. It's a great way to bundle the hotel stay and Theme Park Tickets into one convenient transaction. You will not receive any physical tickets. Instead, your Travel ePackage will be delivered electronically to your Disney account 4 days prior to arrival as per the
Terms and Conditions. This will include the admission tickets, your travel itinerary and digital vouchers for Magical Extras. Once you receive your tickets, you should be able to find them in the
Disneyland Mobile App and may then link them to your MagicBand+ (please note that only one ticket may be linked to a MagicBand+).
You'll still need to make sure that you have Park reservations for your visit, however. Reservations are released 180 days in advance, so I would recommend checking in June. First, you'll want to link your hotel reservations to your Disney account. From the Disneyland website, pull down the menu under "My Disneyland" and select "My Hotel Reservations." Enter the confirmation number to link your reservations and you can then select "Make Theme Park Reservations." to select your dates.
The
Holiday Season is one of the most beautiful times to visit the Resort! You're going to love the Holiday decorations everywhere along with themed foods and entertainment. A
Christmas Fantasy Parade is also my favorite parade at the Parks, so it's not to be missed. And pick up a Mickey Gingerbread if you see one! They're extremely popular.
Fun Fact: Walt Disney loved the Holidays and always wanted to give Guests something extra and unexpected at this time. For Disneyland's inaugural year, despite some resistance, the
Mickey Mouse Club Circus opened in November 1955 and ran until January 8 of the following year, with much of the show being Christmas themed. Acts included Professor George Keller’s Feline Fantastics, gymnasts and acrobats, and a variety of circus animals!
Joseph, I hope that this response was helpful for you as you plan your epic Holiday trip! If you need anything further from us, please reach out again anytime. We'd love to hear from you again!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
