Hi, Susan! We are glad you decided to stop by planDisney with your question! It sounds like you are
clear and focused on your trip planning.
Back in the day, most of our photos had everyone smiling in front of the castle without me. Usually, these pictures were blurry or had an unwanted thumb (or both); it always makes me wonder how I got the job of family photographer! Disney describes their
PhotoPass Service as a way to "capture priceless memories." It's worth the splurge to have a REAL photographer. And now I'm in all the pictures... it's a Disney miracle!
I'm happy to hear that you already purchased
Disney PhotoPass+ One Week in advance of your trip. This package is good for seven consecutive days, so you will have access to all your digital downloads through July 26. Once you enter the park and take your first photo with a photographer, you will be handed a
Disneyland PhotoPass card, which you can scan into your mobile device. Then you'll be able to view all your images through your
Disneyland Mobile app. Just remember that you will have 45 days from your first day in the parks to download your images. If you have any questions, you can call PhotoPass Guest Services at (714) 520-7106, 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Pacific Time.
In addition to the iconic spots such as Town Square, Main Street U.S.A, and Sleeping Beauty Castle, you can find
Disneyland PhotoPass Photographers on the move throughout both parks. While locations may vary, you can use your Disneyland app to find them. I like to take most of our pictures in the morning before the Mouseketeers are tired and sweaty. I also let our photographers guide us- they often tell us to assume the character's signature pose. And don't forget to ask for some Magic Shots!
I hope your vacation is picture-perfect, Susan!
