Doug from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello — I purchased one tickets for my family with a reservation on 5/13/22. We cannot make the trip on that date. Do I need to cancel the reservation in order to keep the value of the tickets to use on a different date?

Hey there, Doug! I’m sorry your original plans to visit the Happiest Place on Earth need to be canceled. I hope I can help you reschedule for a time that works even better for your family.

Before making changes, I recommend viewing the blackout dates for your ticket. Each one-day ticket has a tier level, determining which dates are available for you to visit.

You won’t be able to secure a new theme park reservation until you cancel your original one. Therefore, I recommend you visit the My Reservations webpage, sign in to your Disneyland account, and cancel the original visit date. Once done, you should be able to use My Reservations again to select new dates.

Best of luck rescheduling your plans. Maybe now, you will be able to reschedule for a date when you can view my favorite Disneyland Resort show of all time, Fantasmic! Mickey and his friends will be retaking the stage at the Rivers of America starting May 28, 2022. I hope you can catch it!

    Happy planning,
    Lola
