Hi there, Arantxa!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm delighted you are once again giving us the chance to assist you as you prepare for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Since you are just a few days away from the magic, let's get right to your question!
As you are aware,
Walt Disney World Resort recently implemented a new system for bypassing standby queues:
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. Per Walt Disney World Resort Policy,
Lightning Lane passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Of course, if you don't wind up using the service, you can always reach out to a
Guest Relations Cast Member (look for the blue umbrellas throughout the theme parks) to see if an exception might be made. Please keep in mind that this is not to be expected and would be done solely at Cast Member discretion, so I suggest always being certain you intend to use the service before making the purchase.
I was fortunate enough to have a visit planned just after the system went live and was able to experience multiple theme parks with both types of Lightning Lane passes, so I'm happy to share a bit of my experience with you as you prepare for your vacation! Personally, I was able to successfully bypass standby queues for Kilimanjaro Safaris, Na'vi River Journey, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Slinky Dog Dash in a single day, so I think the service is definitely a great value! My top tip for using the service is not to give up if your desired time or attraction isn't initially available. Keep refreshing the app because availability constantly updates as people change their plans!
I hope this was helpful, Arantxa, and that you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'll be thinking the happiest of thoughts for you! As always, please feel free to
stop back by with any other questions you may have!
You've Got a Friend in Me,
Lizzie
