Hi! We purchased the new Florida Resident Weekday Select Pass and will be visiting 12/12-12/18. This leaves Sunday, 12/13, wide open! We are traveling with a two year old. What should we do on Sunday?

Hi, Annemarie!  How awesome is that new Florida resident Weekday Select Pass?  I think it's a terrific deal for Florida residents and Santa may be thinking of picking one up for my daughter, who moved down to Florida this year!

There really is a lot to do on your day off from theme parks, especially with a two year old.  My favorite thing to do is the Downtown Disney Marketplace area.  My kids could play forever on the little playground that sits outside of the Lego store, and even at two, they wanted to play with the Lego pieces as well as slide and play in the play area.  There is a carousel and a train ride, and if the weather is nice, you'll find kids playing in the fountains there, as if they were the best thing about being at Walt Disney World.  Lunch at one of the restaurants in the area caps off a full morning, or schedule dinner if you want to sleep in and enjoy the area in the afternoon.

You could head over to the Fort Wilderness campground and do a pony ride with your little one, and enjoy the playground over there.  You might stop in and visit the Pony Pond, where you'll find some shetland and miniature ponies.

Rent a surrey bike over at Saratoga Springs Resort.  This is a great family activity, and a nice way to see this resort if you've never been.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
