Hey there, Doug!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm thrilled to hear you took advantage of the
Lightning Lane 7-day advanced booking window for resort guests. It's a great way to lock in your must-do attractions and build excitement as you count down those final few days to check in!
As you've seen,
Magic Kingdom Park utilizes a group system for the initial 3 Multi Pass selections. Guests can select 1 experience from Group A, which currently includes:
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (re-opening May 3)
- Jungle Cruise
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Space Mountain
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
When purchasing for multiple guests in a single transaction, all guests must select the same 3 initial experiences. However, you are welcome to modify selections for one or more members of your party after booking.
To
modify your selections, head to the feature menu (☰) in your My Disney Experience app, then click the "Lightning Lane Passes" tile at the top right of your screen. Select the experience you'd like to adjust (in this case,
Space Mountain), then "Modify Selection." Select the members of your group who want to switch to a different experience, then follow the prompts to change their arrival window or select a new attraction. Once you finalize the edits, you should see
Tiana's Bayou Adventure listed for part of your group, while Space Mountain remains for the rest of your party.
On the day of your visit, you can make new Lightning Lane selections, one at a time (subject to availability), once you redeem one of your initial 3 selections. At that time, attraction group restrictions no longer apply, so you'll be free to select any eligible experience with an available arrival window.
Doug, I hope this clears up any confusion, but if you still need further guidance, please come back and let us know. We're always happy to help, whether you’re blasting off into space or going through the bayou!
Magic and memories,
Amy
