I purchased 2 multi day tickets but my partner and I broke up. These tickets are unused. What are my options for these tickets? If I don’t use it, can I use it towards the purchase of a different ticket?

A great, big, beautiful welcome to planDisney, Rupa! We're so glad you're here!

Disneyland Resort was made for Dreamers, just like YOU! I know it's never easy to navigate change, but I can't think of a better place to find some inspiration and joy than at 'The Happiest Place on Earth.'  I do have some good news for you about your tickets. Your current ticket purchase will be valid for use up until the stated expiration date. You can find this on your original email confirmation or by linking your tickets to your account in the official Disneyland mobile app. If you are planning to change the timing of your planned visit, feel free to modify your theme park reservation for a future date, or simply cancel for now and rebook when you are ready.

Now, Rupa, if you find that you will not be able to use your multi-day tickets prior to the original expiration date, you can request that the value of your wholly unused tickets be applied to a future ticket purchase of equal or greater value.

I also want to mention that while Guest names are requested at the time of your ticket purchase, the tickets are not actually assigned to a Guest until they are scanned at the entrance to a Disneyland Resort theme park for the first time. That is when a Cast Member will take your photo, which will officially assign the ticket to you and it can no longer be re-directed to another Guest. If you prefer to have the name changed on your ticket, you may either call the Tickets line directly or use the chat function within the Disneyland mobile app to ask a Cast Member to assist with this change. You could also consider assigning your name to both tickets, just be sure to note the ticket ID number for each one will differ.

I hope this is some helpful advice, Rupa. I genuinely believe the magic of Disneyland Resort is found in the kindness and authenticity of our connections with one another and with the world around us. I hope you will find this to be true during your next visit. If we can lend any other recommendations in the meantime, please feel welcome to share more questions with us! We'd love to help.

My kindest wishes for a magical visit!
