Is it possible to transfer my ticket

    Hello Friend!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for dropping by with your question!

It is not necessary to change the name on the Theme Park Ticket ahead of a visit. That’s because upon arrival a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using the ticket. Then, the ticket is associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket.

However, you should link the Theme Park Ticket to the account of the person using the ticket. To do this you’ll visit the “Tickets and Passes” section of the App and tap the ‘+’ symbol in the upper-right corner. Use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add the ticket to their Disneyland Mobile App. You may scan the ticket barcode or enter the numbers manually.

If you’re on a desktop computer instead of a mobile device, please log in to their account on the Disneyland Resort Website. Select “My Disneyland” on the far right of the main page. Then, click on “Link Tickets” from the drop-down menu. Next, manually enter the numbers below the barcode on the ticket and add the name of the person using the ticket. Once complete, the ticket and Theme Park Reservation information will be displayed on the main landing page of the Disneyland Mobile App as well.

Thanks again for stopping by! Head back with more questions!

Greetings from San Diego, CA! I'm a wife, cat mom and Disney-loving "childfree millennial." I've traveled all around the world, but my favorite place to visit is "The Happiest Place on Earth!" I've been going to the Disneyland Resort for over 25 years. Each time I step through the turnstiles to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, I feel the magic of Walt Disney's original park.
