Welcome to planDisney, Tiffani! Thank you for your family's service! I am happy to help with your question today.
The
Disney Military Tickets you received should have come with what looks like paper stubs that say "Exchange Certificate" on the front, and a reservation number on the back. If you didn't, the paper you received should have reservation numbers next to each guest going with you. The numbers on the back of the paper stubs are what you will assign to the members of your group. Open up your
My Disney Experience mobile app, and select the "☰" icon on the far right. Select "Tickets and Passes", and hit the blue "+" sign. Select "Link Tickets & Passes", and you have the option of using your camera, or typing the numbers in (which is what I usually do). You'll fill in those numbers in the ID number section, and then press "Link Media". From there, you can assign the tickets to the members of your group going with you. Keep these paper stubs with you, because once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to head over to
Guest Relations (at any theme park or at Disney Springs) to "activate" the tickets. The service member or their spouse will then need to present their military ID. Once this step is complete, the tickets are good to go, and you won't have to go to Guest Relations each time you visit a theme park. I usually head to Disney Springs the day before our first park day, so we are not standing in line waiting at Guest Relations in the morning.
Tiffani, while you are at Guest Relations, ask the Cast Member about the military discount for Memory Maker. It is a great value for service members, and it's so fun having photos taken throughout Walt Disney World with your family (you also get the fun attraction photos!).
Thanks for stopping by planDisney again Tiffani. Please reach out to me with any other questions before you visit Walt Disney World. See ya real soon!
The Magic Awaits!
